ARLINGTON, Texas – The Professional Women’s Bowling Association announced today that
GoBowling.com will return as a sponsor for the 2016 season and will be the title sponsor of the Go Bowling PWBA Players Championship.

GoBowling.com, the destination for bowling fans and enthusiasts seeking news and information about the No. 1 participatory sport in the United States, was a sponsor of the PWBA Tour during its relaunch season last year. On GoBowling.com, consumers can learn more about great bowling offers from more than 2,100 bowling centers across the country.

The Go Bowling PWBA Players Championship, set for June 23-26 at the Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley in Green Bay, Wisconsin, will have a $100,000 prize fund and a $20,000 top prize. Open only to PWBA members, the tournament will be the second major event on the PWBA Tour with the June 26 stepladder finals televised live on CBS Sports Network.

“GoBowling.com is excited to continue its partnership and support of the PWBA Tour,” Strike Ten Entertainment President John Harbuck said. “The Go Bowling PWBA Players Championship is a great opportunity to showcase bowling on a national level with the live TV finals on CBS Sports Network.”

The PWBA Tour season kicks off April 29. As part of an agreement with the United States Bowling Congress, CBS Sports Network will televise 23 major championship bowling events in 2016, including 13 PWBA Tour events.

“We appreciate GoBowling.com continuing its support of the PWBA Tour,” said PWBA spokesperson Kelly Kulick. “It is important for the tour to build these strong, lasting relationships with key sponsors in order for our tour to continue to grow and thrive.”
